It’s been a while since it happened, but we’re still buzzing from our very first competition day! Even though we’re a few months late posting this, the memories are still as fresh as ever.

The day started off with some rain, not exactly ideal weather an open rooftop wind tunnel, but that didn’t stop anyone. More than 20 competitors showed up, ready to throw down and make the most of the day. The vibe ceazy, full of energy, laughter, and pure passion for flying.

We had multiple disciplines running throughout the day 2- way RW and beginner oriented dicipline called Belly Numbers where competitors competed in touching numbers on the glas sin a certain amount of time. Everyone gave their absolute best. From beginners testing their skills for the first time to experienced flyers showing some serious control and style, the atmosphere in the tunnel was electric from start to finish.

Huge thanks to the tunnel instructors who made sure everything ran smooth as butter, keeping the schedule tight and the energy high. And of course, our incredible sponsors deserve a hige shoutout for helping us make this event something special.

Aeronautica Arena in Finland generously gifted 1 hour of tunnel time, while Prosti Pad in Slovenia provided jump tickets. Akando & LB Alti provided vouchers and Tehnoprogres d.o.o. donated drinks, snacks and medals. Seriously, the prizes this year were next level and some of the best ever seen at a regional competition.

And a big-ass GOOD FCK JOB to Erik, who took on judging for the very first time and killed it. You made it look easy!

We’re beyond proud of how everything turned out, the people, the vibe, the support. Rain or shine, you all made it a day to remember.
